We are seeking a driven and detail‑oriented Sales Development Representative (SDR) to support our business development efforts by identifying and qualifying new contract warehousing opportunities.
Position OverviewThe Sales Development Representative plays a critical role in building and managing the company’s new business pipeline. This position is responsible for leveraging Hub Spot CRM and Zoom Info to research, identify, vet, and qualify prospective customers in target industries.
The SDR will generate qualified opportunities and hand them off to the Vice President of Sales for full‑cycle engagement and closing.
This is an inside sales and sales intelligence role — ideal for someone who is analytical, organized, persistent, and comfortable working with data‑driven prospecting tools.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead Research & Prospecting
- Utilize Zoom Info to identify potential customers within targeted industries (food & beverage, CPG, manufacturing, chemicals, etc.)
- Research company profiles, decision‑makers, and supply chain needs
- Build organized prospect lists aligned with company growth strategy
CRM Management & Pipeline Development
- Maintain accurate records within Hub Spot CRM
- Track outreach activity, lead status, and opportunity progression
- Ensure clean, organized data for reporting and forecasting
Lead Qualification
- Vet prospects based on warehouse footprint, volume, industry fit, and growth indicators
- Conduct initial outreach via phone and email to validate interest and alignment
- Schedule qualified meetings and deliver complete opportunity briefs to VP of Sales
Collaboration
- Work closely with VP of Sales to refine targeting strategy
- Provide organized lead intelligence and background information before meetings
- Continuously improve prospecting processes and messaging
- Consistent generation of qualified meetings and opportunities
- Organized, accurate CRM data
- Clean handoffs to sales leadership
- Proactive ownership of pipeline growth
- 2+ years of experience in sales development, inside sales, or lead generation
- Hands‑on experience using Hub Spot CRM
- Hands‑on experience using Zoom Info
- Strong research, analytical, and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self‑directed with the ability to work independently
- Comfortable making outbound calls and conducting email outreach
- Experience in 3PL, logistics, warehousing, or supply chain industries
- Experience working in a B2B sales environment
- Familiarity with longer consultative sales cycles
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
