  • Estimated Weekly Pay: $1960 - $2010
  • Location: Belleville, Illinois (62226) – Greater St. Louis area
  • Healthcare Setting: Acute Care Hospital, Cardiac Telemetry Unit
  • Assignment Length: 13 weeks (option to extend)
  • Start Date: December 1, 2025
  • Shift: 12-hour night shifts (18:45 – 07:15)
  • Hours per Week: 36
  • Patient Ratio: 1:5-6
  • Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
  • Charting System: EPIC
  • Scrub Color: Navy
  • Parking: Free on-site parking
Registered Nurse Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of recent Telemetry RN experience (required)
  • Active Illinois Registered Nurse license (required at time of submission)
  • Current ACLS and BLS certifications (required)
  • Proficiency with EPIC electronic charting (required)
  • Experience with cardiac drips (no titration), sheath pulls, and central line management
  • Skilled in cardiac telemetry, dysrhythmia interpretation, tracheostomy care, wound care, and non-invasive airway management
  • Ability to float to all inpatient units at both Belleville and Memorial East campuses as needed
  • Must reside outside a 75-mile radius from Belleville, IL
  • Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions accepted); COVID-19 vaccine not required
  • First-time travel nurses accepted
Travel Telemetry RN Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult cardiac telemetry patients, including those with high-risk cardiology diagnoses and post-operative open heart procedures
  • Manage cardiac drips (no titration), perform sheath pulls, and provide central line care
  • Conduct hourly rounding and bedside shift reports for all patients
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including physical therapy, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
  • Float to other inpatient units within scope as needed to support hospital staffing needs
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EPIC
  • Comply with all hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
