We are an after-hours emergency hospital located near the Bay of Quinte, with a strong support staff who strive for excellent patient and client care with teamwork and collaboration. Our hospital has diagnostic digital radiograph equipment, well stocked and laid out treatment areas, in-house IDEXX blood machines, and more. Our ideal team member loves learning, is eager to grow, and works well in a team environment.
Our hours may be during the evenings and weekends, but we are flexible and will work with you — most of our full-time employees only work 3 days a week.
Enjoy your days off in Belleville and the surrounding area, with parks, shops, and dining. Prince Edward County is a short drive away for beaches, resorts and wineries.
About The Role:Our ideal Locum Veterinarian (DVM) will demonstrate an exemplary standard of medicine with patients in a compassionate and caring manner. The DVM will be largely responsible for clinical work and will combine clinical expertise, emotional intelligence and a servant leadership mindset to promote excellence in veterinary medicine.

- Flexible Schedule
- Provide high-quality medical care for emergency and general patients as part of an after-hours team.
- Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to manage patient care and diagnostics.
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or eligible to practice in Canada.
- Interest or experience in emergency/after-hours veterinary care preferred.
