Job Responsibilities
- Evaluate a resident’s condition and develop an appropriate OT rehabilitation plan.
- Help residents to improve their mobility.
- Assist residents through their tasks and monitor their performance.
- Inform residents about what they should anticipate in different stages of recovery and how they will handle each situation.
- Maintain resident confidence and protect facility operations by keeping information confidential.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by protecting residents and employees by adhering to infection‑control policies and protocols.
- Comply with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements.
- Contribute to inter‑disciplinary team efforts in resident care.
- Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant license in good standing with the state.
- Experience working with geriatric patients is a plus.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
