This is a sales and customer‑facing position with no office requirement. The role focuses on selling AT&T VAS portfolio to federal, state, local, and education (SLED) customers.

Overall Purpose

Drive revenue growth and support aligned sales teams as the product specialist, assisting in the sale of complex products, services, and solutions tailored for SLED customer needs.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Provide subject matter product expertise and suitability for customer solutions.
  • Consult with sales teams and customers to design and customize products, services, and solutions.
  • Develop and deliver detailed sales proposals, presentations, and bids, including pricing for highly complex solutions.
  • Develop and execute advanced sales strategies and strategic plans to stay competitive in the market.
  • Oversee the sales process as product specialist, ensuring customer satisfaction and long‑term partnerships.
  • Prepare and present executive‑level presentations focusing on business outcomes; represent AT&T at key SLED conferences and networking events.
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Enterprise Sales and/or Government sales.
  • Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired.
  • Strong presentation skills and business acumen.
  • Demonstrated and replicable success in solution selling to Public Sector entities.
  • Relationships within the Public and Private partners serving the Public Sector ecosystem.
  • Experience preparing professional and concise communications to external state, local & education customers.

Desired Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in Public Sector complex sales.
  • Extensive experience in cloud, cybersecurity, SD‑WAN, contact center, and other technology platforms.
  • Working knowledge of government telecommunications industry.
Compensation

Base salary between $89,600 – $134,400 + commission, total target compensation $159,600 – $204,400 (San Antonio and Austin). $100,300 – $150,500 + commission, total target compensation $170,300 – $220,500 (Bellaire, Dallas and Fort Worth). Starting salary depends on geography, experience, and education.
