We’re looking for a few friendly and reliable individuals to join our team as a Summer Pool Cashier! This position is perfect for someone who enjoys working with people and has a passion for customer service. As a key part of our poolside operations, you’ll assist guests, handle transactions, and help create a welcoming atmosphere. If you’re organized, detail-oriented, and ready to make a splash this season, we’d love to hear from you!

Work tasks to include:

  • Customer Service:
    • Greet patrons at the Aquatics Facilities and provide information about programs and services.
    • Answer phone calls and inquiries with excellent customer service.
    • Handle payments and registrations according to established procedures.
  • Facility Maintenance:
    • Maintain facility cleanliness and report maintenance issues to appropriate personnel.
    • Conduct hourly walkthroughs to ensure facility security and integrity.
    • Retrieve necessary tools and equipment for setting up and adjusting activity areas.
  • Program Support:
    • Assist in organizing, leading, and promoting interest in recreational aquatic programs and activities.
    • Set up and clean up program areas before and after activities.
    • Act as a liaison between program participants and field staff.
  • Safety and Compliance:
    • Enforce and adhere to personnel, safety, and departmental policies and procedures.
    • Administer first aid according to prescribed procedures and notify emergency medical personnel when necessary.
  • Communication and

    Collaboration:

    • Communicate effectively with parents of program participants.
    • Collaborate with management and supervisors to resolve participant complaints, disturbances, and emergencies.
    • Assist coworkers and other departments as needed to ensure smooth operations.
  • Training and Development:
    • Attend mandatory training sessions and in-service meetings to enhance skills and knowledge.
    • Stay informed about Aquatics Center policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Contribute to the team effort by performing other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications

No prior experience necessary.

Candidates must be age 16 or older prior to starting work.
