Guide an evening-shift NICU team near Bellaire, advancing clinical excellence, caregiver engagement, and seamless care for complex neonatal populations.
ResponsibilitiesLead unit workflows, acuity-based staffing, and caregiver development
Coordinate interdisciplinary plans with physicians and allied teams
Monitor metrics (falls, CLABSI, VAP, HAPI, readmissions) and action plans
Maintain competencies, orientation, and preceptor programs
Steward budgets, capital requests, and supply management
Champion parent communication, escalation, and discharge readiness
Qualifications RequiredBSN
Active Texas or Compact RN license (Texas within 60 days if Compact)
Minimum 2 years recent NICU leadership (manager or charge) in acute care
BLS
PreferredNRP; neonatal specialty certification
Level III/IV NICU experience with throughput and regulatory projects
