Regional Registered Nurse - Ambulatory Infusion

Location:

Bellaire, TX. This position will be based at our Bellaire, TX Infusion Center with the expectation to travel to our Houston area centers for coverage as needed. This is a full‑time, float position. Clinic

Hours:

8am – 5pm or 7am – 7pm depending on location.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Perform duties within the Nurse's scope of practice, the facility's policies/procedures, INS Standards of practice, and approved facility protocols.
• Prepare (including mixing medications) and administer ordered therapies according to prescriber order, facility protocols, INS standards and company policy and procedures.
• Complete admission process as directed by Center Director.
• Perform physical assessment on each patient as warranted and for new consults as warranted by the patient diagnosis.
• Refer to the NP on duty for complete physical assessment as needed.
• Document all pertinent data in the patient’s medical record.
• Report all significant changes or observations to the Center Director and is responsible for the follow up on any problem which is identified.
• Evaluate the patient’s response to therapy and document this finding in the medical record.
• Educate patients and/or family members regarding therapy plan.
• Ensure that all medication orders are complete, appropriate, accurate and up to date prior to treatment.
• Understand and adhere to all applicable state, local and Federal laws and regulations including maintaining patient confidentiality through abiding by HIPAA laws/regulations.
• Provide clinical coverage for Registered Nurses on PTO/LOA and may also support new market launches.

• Requires an ASN or ADN and a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience; or any combination of education and experience that would provide an equivalent background.
• Requires a current unrestricted RN license in applicable state.
• Multi‑state licensure is required if this individual is providing services in multiple states.
• Satisfactory completion of a Tuberculosis test is a requirement for this position and Hepatitis B vaccine or signed waiver.

• 2+ years of experience with IV preferred.
• Port, PICC & Peripheral Line experience preferred.
• Medication mixing experience preferred.
• Titration experience preferred.
• BSN preferred.
• Multi‑state license a plus.
