JOB SUMMARY

The Education Instructor Radiology plans, designs, implements, coordinates, and evaluates educational programs and activities for designated departments based upon identified needs for the Radiography Program.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Education/Specialized Training/Licensure:
    • Masters and Bachelors Degree Required.
    • Holds current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification and registration in radiography.
    • Holds current Licensure by Texas Department of State Health services (MRT).
  • Work Experience:

    Document two (2) years of full time experience in radiography.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

    • Analytical, Medical Terms
  • Advanced

    Education:
    • Advance Training Specialty:
      One (1) year as a Joint Review Committee of Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) approved instructor preferred.
    • Advanced certification training in Cat Scan and/or MRI.
  • Work Schedule:

    Flexible
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
  • Member of American Society of Radiologic technologist (ASRT) and/or Texas State Radiologic Technology (TSRT); staff development and training.
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) registration in one advanced certification preferred - CT or MRI.
