Overview

Are you dedicated to providing a safe work environment? Parkwest Bicycle Casino is hiring a security guard to help create a new casino culture. Security Guards are responsible for providing a safe environment by ensuring the security of the casino, employees and guests. A successful Security Guard will possess keen observation skills and understand basic card room games while demonstrating a high level of customer service.

• Ensures the protection of Parkwest Bicycle Casino property and assets and the safety of customers and team members during the shift.
• Makes timely notification to the supervisor of any observation or incident that may be inimical to the interests of Parkwest Bicycle Casino.
• Participates in completing box pull, ensuring that it is done efficiently and accurately and in a timely manner.
• Responds to customer and team member requests for service in a professional and courteous manner.
• Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively in person, by telephone and over the radio.
• Has a thorough knowledge of emergency and safety procedures.
• Must be available to work any shift including weekends and holidays and overtime when necessary.
• General knowledge of California criminal laws and security procedures.
• Possess all current permits.
• Other job related duties as assigned.

• High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent.
• Prior related experience of at least 1 year.
• Must possess a valid California Guard Card.
• Must have CPR & First Aid/AED.
• Valid California Driver's License and an acceptable driving record as established by the Hotel & Casino's insurance carrier.
• Open availability to work Day, Swing or Graveyard.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
• MUST BE 21 YEARS OLD.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a current California gambling establishment employee permit, badge or license.
• Must provide evidence of employment eligibility in the U.S.
• Must be able to pass a mandatory drug test, criminal background and credit check.
