Equipment Associate (Yard Technician)

Midway Rental (a division of REIC Rentals) in Belgrade is hiring an Equipment Associate who enjoys general labor, customer service, and is comfortable around heavy equipment. Experience with troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues is a plus. A customer service and safety‑oriented individual who takes pride in ensuring equipment and the yard look its best is encouraged to apply.

• Wash and detail rental equipment before delivery.
• Inspect small equipment for quality.
• Manage hookup and receiving of trailer or smaller rented items.
• Enhance visual appeal of the yard.
• Pre‑prep yard for start and close of business.
• Load and unload equipment and communicate rental details with the Rental Coordinator.
• Wash and repair returned equipment to make it rent‑ready.
• Assist in appearance and arrangement of equipment in the yard.

• A valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass forklift, AWP, and propane training tests.
• A focus on safety.
• Customer service experience.
• Experience working outside in extreme weather conditions in all seasons.
• Ability to take instruction and understand goals and processes.
• Ability to work fluctuating schedules, including some Saturdays.
• Complete additional duties as assigned.
• Ability to comprehend job‑related duties in both verbal and written formats.
• Comfortable working with limited supervision at times.

• Stand for extended periods; walk, bend, lift, push, pull, and reach.
• Lift up to 75 pounds several times throughout a shift.
• Approximately 50% of the workday standing, 45% walking, 5% sitting.

Salary: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour.
