Full-Time

We are looking for a Senior Software Test Engineer to validate embedded software implementations for display modules and display driving boards based on software requirements. This role involves test case creation, execution, and automation to ensure software quality, working closely with software architects and engineers. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of embedded software architectures, hardware functionality, and qualification processes aligned with ASPICE standards.

Requirements

Must-Have

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or a related field

You must be based in Europeand willing to relocate to Belgium

Minimum of 4+ years of experience in automotive software testing

Strong experience in CANoe and CAPL scripting

Expertise in CAN, I2C, and SPI communication testing

Experience in diagnostic testing (CAN, UDS)

Proficiency in oscilloscope-based testing

Knowledge of ISTQB testing methodologies and test case/script creation

Hands‑on experience with requirements management tools (e.g., DOORS, JAMA)

Experience with defect management tools (e.g., Redmine, JIRA, CoreALM)

Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., GIT, SVN)

ASPICE experience (SWE5-6) test activities and the V-Model process

Strong analytical and decision‑making skills for software requirement analysis, defect logging, and verification

Excellent communication skills in English

Nice-to-Have

Experience with cybersecurity testing

Proficiency in additional scripting languages (Python, Java)

Knowledge of automation tools (e.g., Jenkins)
