Sarens is looking for Crane Technicians who thrives on technical challenges and takes pride in precision. Based at our headquarters in Belgium, you’ll work on electrical and hydraulic systems, perform diagnostics, and keep our cranes in top condition. You’ll join a global leader in heavy lifting, where safety and teamwork are at the heart of everything we do.

Your job in a nutshell:
  • Perform electrical and hydraulic diagnostics and repairs on cranes.
  • Read and interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics.
  • Carry out routine maintenance and service on all crane types.
  • Assist with engine diagnostics and repairs (preferred but not essential).
  • Complete accurate documentation: work reports, inspection reports, material requests, and timesheets.
  • Work independently and as part of a team.
  • Follow all company and client safety protocols.
  • Travel as needed (approx. 15–20%).
About you

You’re a hands-on technician with a passion for precision and safety. You are willing to relocate to Belgium and bring strong technical expertise
, the ability to work autonomously, and a commitment to teamwork.

Required:
  • Legally authorised to work in Europe.
  • Valid EU driving licence.
  • Minimum 5 years proven experience in electrical and hydraulic system diagnostics and repairs.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics.
  • Experience with engine diagnostics and repairs.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
  • Ability to work without direct supervision and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
