Round Painter -Technician

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a motivated and versatile
Technician (M/F).

Under the supervision of the Hotel General Manager and in close cooperation with the Technical Director for Flanders, you will be an integral part of the team dedicated to the maintenance and improvement of the Martin’s Rentesterij infrastructure.

• Daily follow-up and execution of technical interventions at the hotel
• Performing routine maintenance and basic repairs on electrical, mechanical and plumbing systems
• Repairs and maintenance of HVAC systems, lighting, kitchen appliances, air conditioning, sanitary installations, painting and carpentry work
• Managing and coordinating external suppliers and technical partners
• Maintaining the garden and outdoor spaces when applicable
• Managing the spare parts stock and monitoring orders
• Ensuring compliance with mandatory technical inspections in collaboration with the Technical Director
• Verifying that maintenance contracts are properly executed
• Providing technical advice for investment projects and identifying optimal technical solutions
• Supporting environmental initiatives and projects
• Reporting major technical issues to the Technical Director
• Assisting with new projects and renovations

• You are hands-on, technically skilled and eager to learn
• You have experience in a similar technical role, preferably in the hospitality sector or a comparable environment
• You have solid knowledge of electricity, plumbing, HVAC and general construction techniques
• You are organized, structured and detail-oriented
• You can work independently but also function well within a team
• You speak fluent Dutch; knowledge of French and English is a plus
• You are flexible and willing to occasionally work outside standard hours (weekends or evenings)
• You have basic IT skills to follow up technical documentation
