As a
** QA Compliance Engineer
** supporting our
** Quality & Regulatory Affairs team**, you will be trusted to strengthen and maintain the Quality Management System and ensure compliance with global, local, and internal regulations at our
** Puurs Manufacturing Facility in Belgium**. You will apply advanced expertise, lead independent assessments, and drive continuous improvement across key quality this role, a typical day will include:
* Collaborating with cross‑functional partners to identify and resolve quality and compliance challenges.
* Coordination of QA in Validation, CSV activities, Quality metrics and audits
* Coordinating site gap assessments and supporting the harmonization and standardization of the Quality Management System.
* Managing core quality processes—including Quality Systems Management, and Supplier & Component Quality Management—to ensure alignment with cGMP, Health Authority expectations, ISO standards, and the Alcon Quality Manual.
* Supporting the implementation of the Quality Strategy by identifying opportunities to enhance process efficiency and driving improvements.
* Overseeing Quality Information Systems and training programs to maintain a robust and sustainable quality environment.
** WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON
*** A relevant degree in a scientific, engineering, or technical discipline.
* Experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Systems, or a related function within a regulated manufacturing environment.
* Strong knowledge of cGMP, ISO standards, and GxP requirements.
* Fluency in English and Dutch.
* Advanced analytical skills, sound decision‑making, and the ability to work independently with minimal direction.
* A commitment to accuracy, documentation excellence, and continuous improvement.
