As a Certified Equipment Shop Planner supporting our Supply Chain Planning & Operations team, you will be trusted to align sales forecasts with production capacity, optimize finished goods inventory, and ensure timely material availability r work will help ensure our products reach customers efficiently so people around the world can see brilliantly. In this role, a typical day will include:
* Collaborating with production, procurement, and logistics teams to solve supply‐demand alignment challenges
* Analyzing historical data and market trends to forecast demand and adjust production schedules
* Planning, controlling, and managing finished goods inventory to meet customer needs while minimizing excess and obsolescence
* Coordinating with procurement to secure timely materials and maintain strong supplier relationships
* Applying advanced analytical skills to make informed decisions and drive continuous improvement in supply chain performance
** WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:
*** Education in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Operations, or a related field* +3 years relevant experience in supply chain planning, demand forecasting, inventory management, or production planning
* Fluency in English and Dutch
* Strong analytical and data‐interpretation skills, with the ability to work independently on complex tasks
* Commitment to quality, accuracy, and adherence to GxP requirements, including SOP compliance and complete documentation
* A collaborative mindset and the ability to partner effectively across functions
