Database Administrator

What will you be doing in this role?

• Design, develop, and maintain data collection, transformation, and integration processes across multiple on-premises and cloud RDBMS platforms.
• Create, optimize, and maintain analytical and monitoring dashboards in Power BI, Grafana, and SSRS;
• Implement and manage automation tools and scripts for routine database administration, data extraction, and reporting;
• Produce dynamic reports and standardized templates to support database configuration management, performance monitoring, and lifecycle tracking;
• Manage installation, configuration, upgrades, and backups of database systems and related products both on-premises and in the cloud;
• Establish and maintain data governance and quality standards within reporting and integration processes;
• Stay current with database technology roadmaps, contributing to continuous improvement of lifecycle management, security, and data reliability.

• Extensive experience in data engineering, with a focus on designing, developing, and maintaining robust data pipelines;
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server and other relational database management systems (RDBMS), including cloud-based platforms
• Solid understanding of high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) architectures, such as server clustering and virtualized infrastructures
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft data and reporting technologies (Power BI, SSRS, SSIS) and familiarity with Grafana;
• Experience in automation for database and data pipeline management tasks;
• Skilled in developing automation scripts using Power Shell/TSQL or Python to enhance data collection, transformation, and reporting workflows.
