YOUR TASKS

• At least
  90% of your assignment will be spent on academic research in preparation ofa doctoral dissertation
• You will conduct research on methods for detecting so-called ‘hallucinations’ in generative AI models for medical imaging, with a particular focus on MRI reconstruction. In collaboration with specialists from the Ghent Institute for Functional and Metabolic Imaging (GIfMI), the developed methods can be validated on a real MRI scanner.
• You will support the teaching activities of the department by assitting in selected courses and possibly (co-)supervising master’s theses.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• You hold a master’s degree in computer science or (bio-)engineering sciences.
• You have a strong background in machine learning, deep learning, and computer vision.
• You have experience with Python and technologies such as PyTorch, Num Py,Pandas and HDF

• You have experience working with high-performance computing (HPC) systems.
