• The Digital Architect is a change agent: able to walk a mile in the customer’s shoes and help drive organizational change. Understands the customer journey and ensures alignment of future digital solutions with strategic business objectives. Builds the IT roadmap for their domain by connecting strategy/investments to outcomes.
• The Digital Architect is an innovator: creates approaches for thinking about work in transformative ways using digital/AI technologies. Organizes and participates in POCs in line with the innovation funnel priorities. Applies agile principles to adapt to evolving business and customer needs.
• The Digital Architect is a facilitator: brings people together across teams and business lines to forge consensus and promote collaboration around digital solutions.
• The Customer Facing Applications Architect maps the customer journey across touchpoints and channels to identify pain points and optimize the customer experience. Aligns with other architects for cross-domain integration. Manages transformation of the IT solutions portfolio with focus on business value, future proofness, data insights, risk management and cost optimization. Makes decisions about replacing, upgrading, introducing new, or retiring ICT applications.
• Redesigns relevant digital processes from a customer-centric perspective, including usage of state-of-the-art digital capabilities such as Agentic AI.
• Guides project teams during implementation and provides input to Project Managers to develop budgets and timelines. May serve as Project Manager for pilot projects or highly complex projects.
• Collaborates with the Support and Service Team for ongoing governance after implementation.
• Collaborates with the Infrastructure Team on security considerations and with the Integration Team to ensure smooth encapsulation of future ICT solutions in the current landscape.
• Provides budget input for CAPEX and OPEX to ICT Management and Project Managers; may act as budget owner for specific projects.

• Adobe AEM (or other CMS) experience
• eCommerce experience
• PIM Experience
• API driven (or MACH) architecture experience
• Experience in any of the following is a plus:
  • SAP ERP Integration (ECC or S/4
    
    HANA)
  • Online payments
  • Customer feedback management (Qualtrics)
  • Hyperscaler (Azure etc)
  • Low-Code (Outsystems)
  • Marketing Automation
  • Agentic AI experience
• Vision/Strategy/Innovation
• Change Management
• Functional skills within the domain of responsibility
• Communication & Collaboration skills
• Project Management/ Agile/Scrum/Kanban
• Analytical skills, both detail and helicopter view
• ICT Integration skills
• Application development experience is a plus
• Open mindset with emphasis on knowledge sharing
• Ability to work independently as part of a team
• Flexible and stress resistant
• Fluent in English (spoken and written); additional languages are an asset
• 10 years of experience
