Are you ready to join the forefront of technology as a Senior Enterprise Java Architect – Backend & Integration in Netcompany?

As a
Senior Enterprise Java Architect – Backend & Integration
you will:

  • Provide expert guidance on defining enterprise policies and strategies for content, records, archives, and information management, including capture, selection, retention, and digital preservation.
  • Lead the design, development, and maintenance of records, archives, and information management systems, and oversee the technical implementation of new or adapted policies.
  • Analyze and define requirements for content, records, archives, and information management systems, producing functional and technical specifications for backend and integration solutions.
  • Architect system integration and data migration strategies for legacy repositories, ensuring smooth transition and minimal disruption.
  • Develop and maintain robust solutions for long-term digital preservation and archiving, adhering to legal, security, and compliance frameworks, including encryption, digital signatures, secure access, and data protection.
  • Define and implement metadata standards for content and records management, supporting effective archival description and retrieval.
  • Design and implement scalable data publication and exchange solutions, leveraging linked open data, semantic web technologies, and modern API/integration frameworks.
Qualifications

What would make you a fit for the role:

  • Master’s degree (5 years) or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Expertise in records, archives, information management, digital preservation, and secure public access to documents.
  • Experience designing and implementing content, records, and enterprise information management systems, including ECM and long-term digital preservation platforms.
  • Proven skills in large-scale, multi-user system architecture, integration, and data migration.
  • Practical experience with metadata management, ontology design, open data, digital signatures, encryption, full-text search, and semantic web technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies, web services, enterprise integration patterns, cloud platforms, and database management systems.
  • Experience configuring and operating document management systems such as Open Text Documentum or Alfresco.
  • Analytical thinker with excellent problem-solving skills, results-oriented and agile mindset.
  • Ability to work autonomously, collaborate effectively in international/multi-cultural teams, and communicate fluently in English and French is a plus.
