Haxhijaj We’re looking for a
** Cloud Data Engineer
** to build and run scalable, reliable data pipelines and cloud data platforms. You’ll work on end-to-end delivery: ingestion, transformation, modelling, and making data ready for analytics and reporting.

Experience with
** Azure or AWS
** is a fit both is a plus, but not required.### What you’ll do
* Build and maintain
** ETL/ELT pipelines** (batch and, where relevant, streaming)
* Ingest data from APIs, databases, files, and event streams into a cloud platform
* Develop and optimize data models (e.g.,
** Star schema / Data Vault / Medallion**)
* Ensure
** data quality**, monitoring, logging, and operational reliability
* Optimize performance and cost (partitioning, tuning, storage strategies)
* Collaborate with BI, Analytics, Data Science and stakeholders on requirements
* Work with Dev Ops/Security on access management, encryption, and compliance
* Document solutions and contribute to best practices### What we’re looking for (must-have)
* Proven experience as a
** Data Engineer
** in a production environment
* Strong
** SQL** +
** Python** (or Scala)
* Hands-on cloud experience with
** Azure or AWS**, such as:
** Azure (examples):
*** Azure Data Factory, ADLS Gen2
* Databricks and/or Synapse Analytics* (Nice) Microsoft Fabric, Event Hubs, Purview
** AWS (examples):
*** S3, Glue, Lambda, Athena
* Redshift and/or EMR/Spark* (Nice) Kinesis, Step Functions, MSK (Kafka)
* Familiar with orchestration and automation (Airflow, ADF, Databricks Jobs, etc.)
* Git + CI/CD mindset### Nice-to-haves
* ** dbt**, Terraform (or Bicep/Cloud Formation)
* Docker / Kubernetes
* Streaming (Kafka/Event streaming)
* Data governance & security practices (GDPR, IAM/RBAC)
