As an Executive Director within EY Consulting Belgium, you will spearhead strategic digital initiatives for European Union institutions. This senior leadership position demands vision, innovation, and operational excellence to deliver transformative digital programs. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will shape digital strategies that align with EU regulatory frameworks and institutional objectives, ensuring measurable impact and sustainable outcomes.

• Define and execute digital strategies for EU Institutions Business Area (EUIBA) clients.
• Drive large-scale digital transformation programs in compliance with EU policies and standards.

• Cultivate strong relationships with senior stakeholders across EU institutions.
• Serve as the primary digital advisor for EUIBA clients, ensuring strategic alignment.
• Demonstrate deep sector expertise, particularly in digital health
  , with experience engaging DG SANTE, ECDC, EMA, or DG HERA.
• Engage with DG CNECT
  , focusing on innovation, emerging technologies, and quantum computing initiatives to advance EU digital priorities.

• Guarantee the entire sales cycle
  , from opportunity identification to engagement closure.
• Draft the department agency strategy and align it with business objectives.
• Identify customer needs and translate them into tailored solutions.
• Act as Proposal Team Leader
  , coordinating proposal development and ensuring high-quality submissions.
• Lead engagement follow-up to maintain client satisfaction and foster long-term relationships.

• Conceptualize innovative solutions addressing complex client challenges.
• Oversee multi-disciplinary teams delivering mission-critical technology solutions.
• Ensure adherence to quality, timelines, and budgetary commitments.
• Introduce emerging technologies and best practices to optimize client operations.
• Provide thought leadership in areas such as cybersecurity

  , interoperability and governance

• Mentor and empower managers and consultants within the EU account team.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, diversity, and continuous learning.

• Master’s degree in technology, business, or related discipline.

• Minimum 10 years in technology consulting, including 5+ years in executive leadership roles.
• Proven track record managing large-scale technology programs for public sector or EU institutions.
• Experience working in consulting firms like EY is strongly preferred.

• In-depth knowledge of EU regulatory frameworks and procurement processes.
• Expertise in digital transformation, cybersecurity, cloud solutions, and enterprise architecture.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities.

• Fluent in English; proficiency in French or Dutch is an asset.
