We’re currently hiring a Development Team Lead who can drive execution, raise the bar on quality, and lead a team with clarity and accountability.

This role is for the top 3%: someone who combines strong Shopify engineering with real leadership and delivery ownership.

As our Development Team Lead, you will:

• Lead and manage the development team and ensure consistent delivery
• Own project execution: scope control, priorities, deadlines, and release planning
• Create a clear workflow between Development, QA, and Project Management
• Identify blockers early and solve them fast (or elevate clearly)
• Coach developers and improve team efficiency and accountability

This is a hands‑on leadership role where ownership and delivery are non‑negotiable.

You have:

• 4+ years of experience in Shopify development (themes + custom work)
• Proven experience leading a team (planning, decision‑making, follow‑up)
• Strong communication skills and the ability to align with PMs and stakeholders
• A structured mindset: tickets, sprints, clear definitions of done
• The ability to balance speed + quality without chaos
• Experience with Shopify Plus
• Performance optimization experience (Core Web Vitals, speed, SEO basics)
• QA/release management experience

• Theme architecture experience (scalable, reusable components)
