# Dev Ops Engineer Job title

DevOps Engineer Location### Design, develop, and maintain Terraform configurations for creating and managing GCP resources###
● Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices###
● Automate infrastructure deployments and configuration management using CI/CD pipelines###
● Collaborate with product development teams to ensure smooth deployments and operations###
● Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues###
● Stay up-to-date on the latest GCP and Terraform features and best practices### ### On top of that, you can be asked to work on other value-adding projects for which Gem One knows and sees the potential it can bring to our own company and our customers, but which is to date still a greenfield within our organization. Therefore you will be able to play a pioneering role in exploiting these greenfields.

Aside from the above mentioned “objectives”, you will also be able to learn from state-of-the-art IoT technology, together with a joyous mix of high-potentials and well seasoned professionals.### ### Requirements###
● A minimum of 5 years experience as a Dev Ops Engineer###
● Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Bitbucket Pipelines, Jenkins, Gitlab CI/CD)###
● Scripting experience with languages like Bash or Python###
● Knowledge of Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles###
● Experience with a cloud service provider, preferably GCP###
● Ability to work independently and as part of a team###
● Healthy level of criticism, i.e. not afraid to challenge the status quo###
● Proactive mindset, spotting problems / challenges, but also drafting the potential solution and acting upon it###
● Fluent in English###
● Be open to traveling to Belgium up to 2–3 times per year. Bonus Points###
● Experience with container orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes)###
● Experience with infrastructure monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Cloud Monitoring)###
