The Enterprise Sales Manager is accountable for driving cloud revenue growth and customer success across a portfolio of strategic enterprise customers. The role focuses on defining and executing customer‑centric account strategies, building trusted executive relationships, and positioning SAP’s cloud solutions to address complex business and transformation needs.
This position plays a key role in delivering sustainable growth through renewals, expansion, and long‑term customer value, while ensuring strong alignment across customers, partners, and internal SAP teams.
Key Accountabilities- Own and deliver against annual revenue and performance objectives for the assigned team or portfolio.
- Define and execute account and territory strategies aligned with SAP’s cloud‑first and customer value agenda.
- Manage resources effectively to deliver business‑critical and innovative outcomes.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of sales professionals, ensuring high performance and engagement.
- Make operational decisions on priorities, tactics, and resource allocation to ensure execution of strategy.
- Own and manage a sales budget to deliver success across SAP solution portfolio.
- Customer Strategy & Executive Engagement
Develop a deep understanding of customer business priorities, manage C‑level relationships, and align SAP’s portfolio to deliver measurable value. - Cloud Revenue Growth
Drive renewals, retention, and expansion across the customer base. Own pipeline management and ensure effective handover to implementation partners. - Customer Transformation & Success
Guide Industry Account Managers and Customers through cloud adoption and consumption, clearly articulating the value of cloud migration and maximizing customer lifetime value. - Internal & Partner Collaboration
Align SAP account teams and partners around customer requirements and execution priorities, fostering strong cross‑functional collaboration. - Customer Visibility & Value Realization
Continuously review account plans and performance to ensure relevance, value delivery, and long‑term customer success.
- Operates with autonomy in day‑to‑day decision‑making within the scope of the team or function.
- Manages complex customer environments and multiple stakeholders.
- Applies professional and managerial expertise consistently to balance short‑term execution with long‑term strategic objectives.
- Proven enterprise sales and account management experience.
- Demonstrated and progressive people management experience.
- Strong capability to create direction, build and develop teams, and manage performance.
- Comfortable operating in a complex, fast‑paced, and collaborative environment.
- Acts as a trusted representative of SAP with customers and partners.
- Builds strategic partnerships with senior decision‑makers.
- Communicates clearly, constructively, and transparently, including in challenging situations.
