** The Job
** Our Event Retail team at stichd (PUMA Group) is growing, and we are currently looking to hire an Event Retail IT Support to support the deployment, technical setup, and operational performance of POS (Point-of-Sale) systems across our global Formula One retail operations.
As official retail partner for Formula One, stichd oversee and manage all trackside merchandise operations at the vast majority of F1 races, with the objective of delivering a best in-class experience for F1 fans across all applicable events.
In this role, you will contribute to the full lifecycle of POS operations—planning, preparation, logistics, onsite setup, live-event support, troubleshooting, derigging, and post-event reporting.
This position is ideal for someone with technical aptitude, strong organisational skills, and interest in international event operations. You will work closely with experienced Event POS Coordinators and be progressively trained to take ownership of tasks and race operations over time.
This is a hands on role and extensive international travel to F1 events will therefore be required.
** Your Mission
*** Be responsible for the POS set-up at each assigned event, planning the logistics and supporting the full build from initial installation to final testing;
* Coordinate with the other teams on-site (Event Delivery, Retail, Staffing) and with external partners to deliver POS installation and support;
* Ensure all POS systems operate smoothly during trading days, managing a team to provide first-line support and to resolve operational issues as they arise;
* Manage the correct derig, packing, and documentation of all POS equipment at the end of each event;
* Contribute to continuous improvement by updating processes, reporting event outcomes, and supporting future planning.
** Your Talent
*** HBO/University Degree;
* Functional:
Minimum 2 years of experience in event operations, retail technology, IT support, or POS environments;
* Strong technical problem-solving skills and familiarity with hardware and network fundamentals;
* Calm and solution-oriented under pressure during live event operations.
* Good organizational skills and attention to detail;
* Ability to work collaboratively in fast-paced international environments;
* Process-driven mindset with willingness to learn;
* English on proficiency level;
* Having a driving license and be comfortable driving in multiple countries;
* Further languages beneficial but not a necessity.
