As a consultant, you will work on various projects in different industries. You'll be in close contact with clients and will build a thorough understanding of their business strategy and specific needs in terms of data. You will investigate the different layers around data within an organization from the Strategic layer to the Tactical layer. You will advise and guide our customers around the data management within specific topics such as Data maturity assessment, Data strategy, Data catalog, Data governance etc.

• Take initiatives to foster the development and the implementation of the organization’s digital strategy and assure the integration of data management principles into all aspects of the business
• Translate business needs into data requirements, digital roadmaps and technical solutions (use case identification, creation and implementation).
• Advise on topics such as data identification and classification, access, privacy or security, data catalog creation, data strategy definition, data governance definition, data quality management, data migration…
• Assess and identify emerging trends in data management, digital technology, e-business platforms, digital and mobile products or services, and partnerships in line with the organization’s digital strategy
• Design surveys and discovery sessions, prepare and conduct interviews, and facilitate focus group meetings to gather requirements
• Be responsible for the delivery of assigned tasks within the delivery cycle of a project execution by taking a leadership role over a team of consultants

• You have a passion for and a good understanding of technology in general and data more specifically (or appetite for) (trend watching, meta view, technology regulation, frameworks, …)
• 3-5 years relevant professional experience around Data (data steward, data owner, data architect, data custodian, data analyst
• Participation in several data oriented projects (BI solution implementation, data governance, data migration, data cleansing, profiling, ...)
• Project management skills (and ideally certifications) and good understanding of business processes
• Ability to assess and understand the business reality of the client. Demonstrate a client-oriented attitude, including the ability to develop and maintain sustainable client relationships
• Eager to participate in and contribute actively to a team-oriented environment.
• Knowledge of new data architectures and data regulation (GDPR) is a plus
• Certification like DMBok, CDMP (DAMA) is a plus
• Competence in specific products and tools (SaS, Python, R, Data Catalog, …) is a plus
• Fluent in Dutch and French with a good working knowledge of English
