Job Requisition

Are you a seasoned IT project leader with extensive experience driving large-scale infrastructure and transformation projects? We are looking for a highly skilled IT Program / Project Manager to join our EMEA IT team.

In this role, you will take ownership of complex initiatives (such as migrations to shared service concepts) ensuring structured governance, clear stakeholder management & communication, and proactive risk management.

You will coordinate across multi-team and multi-supplier environments, motivate diverse onshore and offshore teams, and act as a constructive challenger to continuously improve processes and move legacy environments to the EMEA standard solution.

Your ability to drive structured governance, manage complex dependencies, and ensure adherence to project frameworks will be critical in delivering successful outcomes across a dynamic, international environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead large IT infrastructure and transformation projects (migration to a shared service concept) from initiation (planning & due diligence) to delivery and after-care.
  • Ensure structured project governance, reporting, and stakeholder communication.
  • Identify, assess, and proactively communicate risks, dependencies, and potential delays.
  • Coordinate multi-team & multi-supplier environments, ensuring alignment and effective collaboration.
  • Motivate and unify diverse teams across geographies, including offshore/onshore delivery models.
  • Act as a constructive challenger, suggesting improvements based on experience and observed inefficiencies.
  • Uphold compliance with infrastructure standards, governance frameworks and documentation requirements.
Essential Skills and Expertise

Project & Technical Expertise

  • 7–10+ years of senior project management experience, preferably in large IT infrastructure or transformation projects.
  • Proven experience coordinating multi-supplier landscapes and fostering collaboration.
  • Solid infrastructure background with understanding of technical constraints, dependencies, and architectural guidelines.

Core Coordination & Communication Skills

  • Balanced communication style: diplomatic yet assertive (“gentle but pushing”).
  • Strong reporting capabilities with clear, structured, and timely updates.
  • Proactive risk communication and early warning on issues or dependencies.
  • Ability to motivate and unify diverse teams toward common objectives across different organizations.
  • Constructive challenger with the ability to propose improvements based on prior experience or identified gaps.

Great if you bring this too:

  • Experience working with India-based teams, with sensitivity to cultural nuances and offshore/onshore models.
  • Experience onboarding infrastructure standards into affiliates or regional entities in a global corporate context.
  • Familiarity with governance models for infrastructure rollout, including documentation, validation, and compliance steps.
  • Certifications in common project management frameworks (like PMP, Prince2, CAPM, PgMP).

Key Attributes

  • Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equal by (relevant) experience.
  • You’re optimistic in life and think about solutions, not problems.
  • Strong team player.
  • Optimistic and solution-oriented mindset
  • Accurate and reliable
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and spoken) in English and Dutch
  • Willingness to travel for short business trips abroad on frequent basis (at least bi-monthly).
