This new division of Flint Group will further broaden the group’s conventional and digital printing solutions, offering a unique proposition of equipment, consumables and services across its global markets.
For our site in Lier, Belgium, we are looking for an International Print Trainer
.
Primary responsibility is to train our customers to use a Xeikon digital printing machine to maximise the productivity and quality of their production output.
After extensive trainingYou will also provide application support, print consultancy, media scripting services, and training for the customer’s pre‑press and production staff. Additionally, your hardware, software, and application expertise will be necessary in second‑line service as part of the HQ Customer Support team.
- Training new operators on the Xeikon presses
- Providing workflow, application and media scripting training
- Training and support related to colour management, scripting and workflow
Grow into additional responsibilities as a member of the 2nd line team:
- Technical support to first‑line support engineers, dealer technical personnel and customers
- Taking problem ownership, setting up and implementing action plans until a complete solution is achieved
- Troubleshooting and root cause detection
- Escalated problem‑solving at customer sites
- Remote problem‑solving over phone and mail contact with the customer
- Technical educational degree (bachelor) with some years of experience in machine maintenance, field engineering or graphics industry
- Experience as a print operator or trainer in a technical production environment
- Good analytical skills and a quick learner of technical data
- Hands‑on mentality and customer‑oriented
- Self‑supporting, flexible and stress‑resistant
- 50% global travel (when located near Lier, Belgium)
- English and Dutch; any additional language is a plus
