Technical Writer; Aalter

ARDIS is a family business with headquarters in Aalter, Belgium, and a global presence with approximately 8,000 customers, ranging from multinationals to smaller companies in the sheet metal cutting industry (wood, metal, glass, plastic, facade panels).

As a product leader in this niche, they design unique solutions for their customers. In order to effectively map out and introduce R&D innovations to both internal teams and external stakeholders, they are looking for a Technical Writer.

Are you someone with an affinity for languages and are you not afraid to delve into technical matters? Then this position suits you perfectly!

As a Technical Writer, your role will include the following:

• You are the hub for the profitability of new technical developments, both internally and externally within the company.
• You abstract complex technical material and reformulate it in clear language.
• You structure the documentation of the various subteams and develop processes and functionalities in function of the target group. The topics relate to both algorithm and business applications.
• You create, write, give and monitor training courses and can use high-end professional in-house further developed learning & development tools.
• Your core role can, depending on interest and opportunity, be expanded with responsibilities in the field of software development, testing, QA, etc.
