At Datashift we help clients make sense of data and turn it into measurable business results and impact. As CTO you combine hands‑on technology leadership and delivery with steering the technological future of Datashift.

• Work with clients to define reference architecture that fits their context, bringing clarity on relevant emerging technologies.
• Be part of the commercial team for proposals and RFPs: design the solution, define scope and delivery approach, and align on effort estimates and assumptions.
• Own the tech direction for key engagements: from vision to architecture and delivery.
• Inspire by focusing on impact: steer away from hype towards pragmatic roadmaps that fit the client’s industry, maturity, and constraints.
• Define reference architectures for modern data platforms (cloud, lakehouse, streaming, semantic/metrics layer, GenAI/LLMOps) and ensure they are adopted by technical teams.
• Raise the quality bar: oversee best practices, technical reviews, derisking, cost control, reliability, privacy & security by design.
• Coach teams (client + our consultants) to build lasting capability.
• Set the tech direction: define and execute a clear technology vision aligned to Datashift’s business goals.
• Drive innovation in architecture, tooling, and methodologies to enhance delivery at our clients.
• Build scalable capabilities where you connect technology with delivery at our clients: skills & knowledge, certifications, technology and delivery accelerators.
• Define standards for quality, security, privacy and cost control. Ensure these are reflected in reference architectures and ways of working.
• Thought leadership: be a trusted reference in your field both internally and externally; active in the CTO community and maintain a relevant network.
• Work closely with the senior management team to align our technological strategy with Datashift’s growth ambitions & business objectives.

• 10+ years of experience in technical leadership roles within data consulting environments.
• Proven track record in leading engineering or data teams and scaling technical operations.
• Strong expertise in cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), data architecture, and software development.
• Strategic thinker with hands‑on experience in building and deploying complex solutions.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and align cross‑functional teams.
• Passionate about innovation, quality, and delivery.
• Results‑oriented with a focus on getting things done.
