Senior Security Engineer

Introduction

In this role, you’ll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world.

You will be part of the IBM Client Innovation Center Belgium in Antwerp, where we deliver an industry-leading range of innovative technology services and provide deep technical and industry expertise to local IBM clients across public and private sectors.

In this role, you’ll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

As a Senior Security Engineer within IBM CIC you’ll help deliver unique client co-creation experiences to accelerate their transformation. From identification of requirements to technical decisions impacting the business case, you’ll lead all aspects of what it means to deliver high quality solutions in cybersecurity.

• 5+ years of relevant industry experience in security domain along with hands on experience in security vulnerability analysis and remediation
• Strong understanding of Dev Sec Ops and automate security process using scripting and programming languages (e.g. Java, Python, C/C++)
• Must be self-directed, resilient, and creative with strong communication skills, able to explain complex security concepts to diverse audiences across the globe
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Must have knowledge of Versioning control system like GITHUB/RTC
• Fluent in English and Dutch or French (written & spoken)

In addition to your technical skills, we would like you to have a strong business understanding and good communication skills.
