Location: Town of Belgium
We are looking for an impact‑oriented Industrial People Business Partner to join our Ferrero plant in Arlon—home to iconic products like Kinder Schokobons, Raffaello and Kinder Surprise and supported by a workforce of 1,200+ employees.
If you want to play a central role in labor relations, compliance, workforce planning, negotiations, and labor cost management, this is a high‑visibility position in one of Ferrero’s most dynamic industrial environments.
You will report to the People & Organization Manager and operate at the intersection of business continuity, people strategy, and operational excellence.
Labor Relations & Negotiations- Lead the daily relationship with employee representatives and unions, covering a population of 800+ blue‑collar employees.
- Manage negotiations related to scheduling, flexibility, seasonality, and organizational changes.
- Act as a trusted counterpart able to balance operational needs and social dynamics.
- Act as a strategic People & Organization Business Partner to operations leaders.
- Support line managers in driving team performance, efficiency, and workforce engagement.
- Provide data‑driven insights to enable informed decisions on labor, planning, and employee performance drivers.
- Ensure full compliance with Belgian labor legislation, contracts, documentation, and internal policies.
- Drive resource planning across peak/low seasons and support labor cost budgeting and optimization.
- Oversee accurate and timely execution of core People & Organization processes (reward, performance, contracts, learning & development, recruitment).
- Ensure consistency and quality across all People & Organization operations impacting the shopfloor population.
- Support clear and effective communication between management and employees
- An HR professional with 7–10 years of experience in multinational manufacturing environments, proficient in managing complexity and high operational expectations.
- Strong expertise in labor relations, negotiations, and workforce management, with proven ability to support large‑scale blue‑collar populations.
- Solid understanding of Belgian labor law, compliance frameworks, and social governance dynamics.
- Demonstrated ability to manage seasonality, labor cost constraints, and high‑paced industrial settings.
- Results‑oriented, with a strong sense of ownership and the ability to translate business priorities into actionable HR initiatives.
- Highly organized, capable of prioritizing effectively, and focusing on what drives the greatest impact.
- Excellent influencing, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- A data‑driven, pragmatic, and solution‑oriented mindset.
- High ethical standards, resilience, and professional integrity.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Capable of making effective use of AI tools
- Fluency with SAP modules is a plus
- Fluency in French and English
- The knowledge of any other language represents a strong asset
