We are a specialist pharmaceutical company 100% dedicated to developing medicines to treat and prevent HIV. Born out of a partnership between GSK and Pfizer in 2009, with Shionogi joining in 2012, our ambition is to end the HIV epidemic.

PositionCurrently we are looking to recruit a Commercial Manager for ViiV Belgium.
ResponsibilitiesThe Commercial Manager will be responsible for leading the sales team and collaborating cross-functionally to achieve ViiV’s growth ambition.
- Sales leadership / field team orchestrator
- Line management of Customer Account Managers (CAMs)
- Drive execution of account plans
- Drive achievement of team performance and KPI objectives
- Support KAMs in removing barriers to performance
- Drive field omnichannel execution
- Care pathway management
- Work with hospital stakeholders to help improve HIV care pathway
- National event management
- SPOC for national and EU/global-driven events
- Lead quarterly meetings with the marketing and medical teams to align on quarterly priorities for field teams
- Coordinate with marketing and medical teams on HCP involvement in various local, national, EU/global activities
- Review and approve commercial activities
- Voice of the field
- Participate in business planning, performance reviews and other strategic planning processes to ensure field insights are taken into account in decision making
- Provide input on marketing materials to ensure relevance with field reality
- Collaboration and alignment with marketing and medical teams in the preparation of team meetings
- Capabilities
- Work with Hub capability lead on sales capability building programs
- Lead the implementation of global/regional L&D programs for the LOC
- 7+ years of experience in pharmaceutical sales/marketing/medical/market access roles, at least 2 years of which is in sales leadership.
- Proven leadership capabilities. Able to drive team performance in a caring, empowering and inclusive way.
- Experience and confidence in engaging complex hospital stakeholders.
- Ability to manage complex projects involving multiple stakeholders.
- Advanced communication and influencing skills – both externally and internally.
- Professional proficiency in English. Fluent in French and/or Dutch and good understanding of both.
- This is a field-based role. Travel across Belgium for coaching, care pathway projects, team meetings, etc. is required (20-30%).
- To ensure strong collaboration with office teams, this role will require the candidate to be in the office at least 1-2 days per week.
