* We are looking for a quality‑driven and highly organized (Senior) Associate Scientist to strengthen the support team within Preclinical Product Development. You will join a group of enthusiastic, hands‑on scientists who thrive on delivering results and supporting multiple project teams.  We look for someone who can bring additional structure, planning discipline, and workflow  this role, you will perform, coordinate, and improve a diverse set of in vitro and analytical activities.

** The job is based in our facility in Zwijnaarde, Belgium.  Daily presence on site is expected.

**** Laboratory & Technical Activities
*** Perform high‑quality affinity measurements (SPR, BLI,...) for therapeutic antibodies.
* Conduct cell‑based assays, and contribute to formulation, stability testing, and other relevant analytical workflows.
* Develop, optimize, and execute batch release assays to support antibody production runs.
* Independently plan, conduct, interpret, and report experiments with accurate documentation.
* Design experimental protocols and troubleshoot technical challenges creatively.
* Demonstrate strong learning agility and proactively adopt new laboratory techniques.
** Operational Oversight & Coordination
*** Bring structure and project‑management discipline into the team: help organize daily activities, track priorities, and ensure clarity on deliverables.
* Proactively identify opportunities to improve workflows, optimize processes, and strengthen support to project teams.
* Summarize and present results clearly to enable data‑driven decisions.
* Actively manage multiple parallel assignments in a fast‑paced environment.
** Profile
* ** Master’s degree in Industrial Sciences, Biochemistry/Biotechnology, Biomedical Sciences or equivalent.
* Ideally 4+ years of relevant industry experience; strong hands‑on lab experience is required.
* A strong quality mindset : you naturally notice gaps, inconsistencies, and opportunities to enhance reliability.
* Someone who loves creating structure out of chaos and feels energized by organizing, planning, and streamlining.
* Team player with enthusiasm, ownership, and accuracy in execution and reporting.
* Excellent organizational and communication skills; fluent in English (written & spoken).
* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a cross‑functional setting.
* A proactive, solution‑oriented mindset with a passion for scientific excellence.
