Own the end‑to‑end accounts receivable lifecycle and help build a scalable, automation‑first finance operations foundation.

• Manage the full AR process, including invoicing, accuracy checks, posting, and collections.
• Oversee the customer billing lifecycle across CRM, billing systems, and accounting tools.
• Implement efficient dunning workflows to reduce DSO while ensuring a positive customer experience.

• Partner with Sales and Customer Success to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant invoicing.
• Resolve billing discrepancies and support revenue recognition documentation.
• Support month‑end close activities through reconciliations, journal entries, and reporting.

• Ensure VAT/GST compliance for invoices across multiple jurisdictions.
• Maintain documentation for VAT filings and collaborate with tax advisors on compliance needs.
• Support intercompany reconciliations and documentation.

• Support the rollout of modern finance and billing tools to enhance scalability.
• Identify and implement automation opportunities to streamline AR workflows.
• Experiment with AI‑driven tools to improve accuracy, efficiency, and reporting.
• Maintain clear documentation for all AR and finance processes.

• 3–5 years of experience in accounting or finance operations with hands‑on AR exposure.
• Comfortable managing invoices, reconciliations, and revenue‑adjacent workflows.
• Understanding of core accounting principles and an eagerness to learn advanced topics.
• SaaS billing experience with subscription models such as usage‑based or tiered billing.
• Experience with finance tools like DATEV, Net Suite, Stripe, Chargebee, Paddle, or AR automation tools.
• Analytical, detail‑oriented, and proactive problem‑solver.
• Enthusiastic about experimenting with automation and AI to improve workflows.
• Strong communication skills and collaboration across teams.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Organized, able to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast‑paced environment.

• Relevant degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related commercial field.
• Experience in a high‑growth SaaS or tech scale‑up environment.
• Basic familiarity with revenue recognition concepts and documentation.
• Knowledge of indirect tax concepts for customer invoicing (VAT/GST).
• Automation & scripting skills (n8n, Zapier, Python, etc.).
• Experience working in distributed or async‑first teams.
• German language skills to support documentation or German advisors.
