Senior Financial Accountant – Dubai

A leading international law firm with a historic global presence and a strong footprint in the Middle East is strengthening its regional finance function by hiring a Senior Financial Accountant.

The organisation operates across multiple jurisdictions, advising high-profile clients on complex, cross-border matters, and is known for its strong governance standards, high-performance standards and collaborative culture.

The role sits within a lean finance team based in Dubai and works closely with senior regional leadership, offering broad exposure across the UAE and wider Middle East.

Main responsibilities:

• Act as the second-in-command to the Regional Finance Manager, supporting day-to-day financial operations
• Prepare and review financial statements in coordination with external auditors
• Oversee accounting activities across multiple jurisdictions in the Middle East
• Lead and coordinate standalone audits, corporate tax filings, and ICV-related processes
• Ensure strong accounting controls and compliance with local regulatory requirements
• Oversee the billing cycle and review outputs produced by the billing team

Profile:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting
• An experience within a law firm is mandatory, or within an international and renowned professional services firm
• Qualified professional (ACCA, CPA, CA, CIMA or equivalent) or part-qualified
• Exposure to Middle East jurisdictions is required
• Ability to work closely with senior stakeholders and operate in a small and agile finance team
