To support our finance operations in the UK and strengthen collaboration within the Group, we are seeking a London-based,
part‑time Finance Controller (3 days per week).
Description of the role
As Finance Controller, you will play a key role in safeguarding financial integrity and ensuring compliance with UK financial and regulatory requirements. Working closely with the Belgium‑based finance team, you will act as a trusted financial partner to the local management team.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing and maintaining robust financial control frameworks across the business
- Ensuring full compliance with UK financial regulations, statutory reporting, and governance requirements
- Supporting month‑end and year‑end close processes, including review and validation of financial reports
- Liaising with internal stakeholders and external advisors such as auditors and tax specialists
- Providing financial insight, analysis, and guidance to support sound business decision‑making
- Working collaboratively with the Group finance team in Belgium to ensure alignment, consistency, and accuracy
Profile
- Proven experience in a Finance Controller or senior finance role
- Strong knowledge of UK financial regulations, compliance, and statutory reporting
- Relevant professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) preferred
- High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in an international, cross‑border team environment
- Strong communication skills with a proactive, collaborative mindset
