In this role, you will support our client with mechanical design for equipment used in life sciences manufacturing. You will take ownership of the mechanical design within projects, working from user requirements plus design specifications, applying quality procedures, producing drawings plus bills of materials, coordinating with suppliers and subcontractors, contributing to documentation and manuals, and acting as an internal point of contact for design related questions.

You will be responsible for the following deliverables for our client.

• Project mechanical design ownership:
  Lead the mechanical design scope within assigned projects
• Quality compliant execution:
  Work according to applicable quality procedures
• Requirements based design:
  Use URS plus design specifications as the design basis
• Supplier coordination:
  Maintain contact with suppliers plus subcontractors for mechanical parts
• Design outputs:
  Create drawings plus bills of materials for work preparation
• Documentation support:
  Provide inputs for technical documentation plus user manuals
• Internal support:
  Act as the go to contact for mechanical design questions

• Minimum A1 Mechanical Engineering qualification or equivalent experience
• Experience in mechanical design within project environments
• Ability to work from URS plus design specifications
• Strong analytical approach with attention to detail
• Team player mindset with perseverance
• Working knowledge of Creo
• Professional English communication skills
• Familiarity with regulated manufacturing environments is a plus
• Experience collaborating with external suppliers plus subcontractors is a plus
• Experience preparing inputs for manuals plus technical documentation is a plus
