3. Project Manager Foundation Works Your Work Context Since 2015, NV Algemene Ondernemingen SOETAERT has been part of Jan De Nul Group. Soetaert carries out all possible foundation techniques, both for buildings and infrastructure works. At Soetaert, we are committed to innovative foundation, shoring and soil improvement techniques, enabling a tailor-made solution to be considered at any location and in any subsoil.
Your Role As a project manager, you will be responsible for the correct and timely completion of assigned projects.
Your main duties and responsibilities:
* The organisation, planning and coordination of a project in terms of technology, administration and budget.
* You conduct negotiations with suppliers and subcontractors and maintain relations with the client and other parties involved.
* You are responsible for controlling and monitoring the execution of works.
* You ensure permanent follow-up of the site managers, intervene in case of technical problems and make adjustments where necessary.
* You evaluate and report on the progress of the works and communicate regularly with the Ostend office.
* You are also responsible for safety, quality and the environment on site.
** Your profile
** You are a Civil or Industrial Engineer in Civil Engineering. You have at least 10 years' experience in a similar position and have an affinity with soil mechanics and foundation engineering. You are an organisational talent with a high degree of independence. You have good communication and commercial skills. You will work on our sites in Belgium.
