Technical Office Engineer – Infrastructure Project; East Flanders

We are supporting a leading international construction group active in complex and large-scale infrastructure projects. For a technically challenging road infrastructure project in East Flanders
, we are looking for a Technical Office Engineer to strengthen the project team during both the preparation and execution phases.

The project includes bridges and tunnels and plays a key role in improving traffic flow, safety, and liveability for road users and local communities.

• As Technical Office Engineer, you support the Project Manager throughout the preparation and execution of the works. Your responsibilities include:
• Reviewing, validating, and adapting execution drawings from subcontractors and suppliers
• Defining and developing the most efficient construction methods
• Preparing material take-offs and managing procurement and purchasing activities
• Negotiating prices with suppliers and subcontractors
• Developing and monitoring the project planning and partial schedules
• Following up on construction progress and related cost control
• Managing technical and administrative documentation of the project
• Maintaining close contact with the site execution team
• Acting as the link between external stakeholders and the on-site construction team

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in civil or infrastructure works
• Strong knowledge of public procurement procedures and related legislation
• Proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership and initiative
• Comfortable engaging internal and external networks to drive innovation and efficiency
• Fluent in Dutch (spoken and written); knowledge of other languages is a strong asset
• Team-oriented, entrepreneurial, and innovation-driven
• Mobile within East and West Flanders
