What is expected from you- Provide technical support and expertise to ESA projects in the field of Reliability, Availability, Maintainability and Safety (RAMS) throughout all project phases;
- Contribute to the derivation of the RAMS aspects in the system architecture, the implementation and the verification process;
- Support spacecraft Safety Submissions process in the frame of satellite launches;
- Contribute to the proposal, definition, and management of R&D activities covering long- and short-term ESA needs;
- Contribute to the definition of technology development requirements and work plans for the Agency’s technology programmes;
- Contribute to ESA dependability and safety policies, requirements, and standards;
- Support the maintenance of Agency and industry technical competence through the organization of training, symposia, workshops;
- Contribute to dissemination of the results of activities performed and the transfer of knowledge across the Agency.
- Master’s degree in Engineering
- RAMS techniques in at least one of the following domains:
Space, Aeronautic, Railway, Automotive

You will be working within ESTEC, the European Space Agency’s offices in the Netherlands as a contractor for Telespazio Belgium. We don’t expect the employees to be on-site full time however you will still have to relocate to the Netherlands for this position.
