* Design key structural components for new vessels and equipment, ensuring technical feasibility and compliance with regulations.
* Develop technical specifications and test plans to validate structural integrity.
* Review structural engineering performed by third parties to ensure quality and compliance with DEME standards.
* Support basic design activities during concept and early design phases, in collaboration with newbuild project team.
* Ensure high asset availability, structural integrity, safety, and minimal environmental impact.
* Develop engineering and construction schedules and report progress to stakeholders.
* Collaborate closely with internal teams to align designs and integrate feedback.
* Engage with external engineering firms to source innovative solutions and specialized expertise.
* You’ll operate in a multidisciplinary environment where your insights shape real-world outcomes — from seabed to surface.

Your profile
* A MSc (Ing/Ir) degree in Naval Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
* Strong skills and experience in

* A mindset that embraces complexity, optimizes processes, and takes action.
* A collaborative spirit with a strong sense of accountability.
* Business insight and a drive to innovate.
* Willing to travel occasionally for site support and commissioning phases.### Our offer
* A dynamic, technically challenging role in a key engineering team shaping DEME’s future assets.
