Program Manager Defence​/Space

Position: Program Manager Defence/ Space
Location: Town of Belgium

### Your Role As our Program Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind programs that shape the future of defence and/or space technologies. You’ll ensure projects run smoothly, on time, and within budget, while being the trusted partner for our customers. Your responsibilities include:
* Designing, monitoring, and adjusting global project plans — balancing scope, timing, and budget in close collaboration with sales, operations, engineering, and purchasing
* Acting as the key figure and first point of contact for customers, guiding them through every stage of program realization and follow‑up
* Building and leading a strong project team, coordinating, managing, and coaching them to deliver excellence
* Spotting new business opportunities in both technical and commercial domains, and sharing your vision with colleagues to drive growth
* Ensuring contractual agreements are met across specifications, planning, and quality standards
* Driving continuous improvement by identifying risks, proposing solutions, and implementing best practices
* Representing the program internally and externally, aligning stakeholders and ensuring clear communication at all levels### Your Profile
* Higher technical education
* Proven experience in project management, ideally in an international context
* Strong persuasive power and excellent communication skills in English and French
* Knowledge of optical systems is an asset, as well as experience in defence or space projects
* Willingness to travel and stay abroad on a regular basis when required by the program###
