A lovely professional couple based in Ghent, Belgium are seeking a warm, experienced and flexible Live-in Nanny to support them as they welcome their first child, due in July. Both parents run their own business and work Monday to Friday, so are looking for a reliable Nanny who can offer consistent support and become a valued part of the family.
The mother had a Nanny herself growing up and would love to recreate that experience for her own children. Someone who can not only care for their baby but also support the parents as they navigate first-time parenthood.
This is a long-term position, as the family hope to have a second child in the future and would love the Nanny to remain with them.
Working Hours- Monday to Friday
- Approximately 8:00am – 7:00pm
- Flexibility is essential; the family are looking for someone happy to help where needed
- The family live in a 3-bedroom apartment
- The Nanny will have a separate studio apartment nearby, offering privacy and independence
- Full nursery duties for a newborn
- Supporting routines, feeding, naps, and developmental milestones
- Occasional cooking for the child when required
- Supporting the parents, particularly in the early months
- Travelling with the family occasionally (must be open to this)
- Working alongside a Housekeeper (no heavy housekeeping required)
- EU passport holder (essential)
- French and/or Dutch a strong bonus
- Experienced with newborns
- Qualifications in sleep training, newborn care or similar are a huge bonus
- Honest, friendly, bubbly, and genuinely happy to help
- Flexible, reliable, and committed to a long-term role
- Confident working in a busy household
- Comfortable supporting first-time parents
