IBA is strengthening its Procurement organization and is looking for three experienced
Sourcing
Category Managers
, each responsible for one of the following strategic areas:

• Mechanical Components & Systems
• Electrical Components & Systems
• Third-Party & Commercial Procurement

As a Sourcing
Category Manager
, you will define and execute the vision, strategy, and roadmap for your category to maximize value, ensure supply continuity, and drive cost optimization while supporting innovation and sustainability.

You will lead a team of sourcing professionals and collaborate across the organization to ensure your category strategy supports IBA’s operational and strategic goals.

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Define and implement a long-term strategy for your category, aligned with IBA’s global procurement objectives.
• Lead end-to-end sourcing activities and key supplier negotiations.
• Build and maintain strategic supplier partnerships to drive performance, innovation, and cost efficiency.
• Manage and develop a team of sourcing professionals
  , fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Deliver measurable cost savings and value creation
  , ensuring compliance with company standards and sustainability goals.

• Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or category management in an industrial company.
• At least 3 years in team leadership or people management.
• Proven track record in category strategy development and cost optimization.
• Experience with direct material or commercial categories (mechanical, electrical, or third-party).
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in English;
  French is an asset.
• Proficiency with procurement systems, ideally SAP.
