Samsonite is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced accountant to oversee the end-to-end accounting process for one or more of our group entities. This role involves ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data while meeting reporting deadlines.
Key Responsibilities- Process supplier invoices efficiently and accurately.
- Manage the monthly closing process, including account reconciliations.
- Prepare and process the payroll.
- Calculate agent commissions and customer year-end discounts.
- Review and control the general ledger, analysing cost center variances.
- Prepare and submit VAT and Intrastat reports, as well as other statutory reporting requirements.
- Compile statutory annual accounts in compliance with applicable regulations.
