THE EMPLOYER IS: MULTI-ETHNIC SPORTS AND CULTURES NI(MSCNI). This is a supported, entry-level Job Start role designed to help a young person gain practical experience in community sports and cultural delivery within a diverse and inclusive voluntary organisation. The role focuses on confidence-building, teamwork, communication, and employability skills through hands-on learning.
Responsibilities- Assist with delivery of community sports and cultural activities.
- Support session and event set-up and pack-down.
- Welcome and support participants during activities.
- Record attendance and assist with basic monitoring.
- Support staff, coaches, and volunteers during sessions.
- Follow safeguarding, health & safety, and equality procedures.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Interest in sport, culture, or community activity.
- Willingness to work with and support people from diverse backgrounds, including host community members, ethnic minority communities, asylum seekers, and refugees.
- Interest in community development or coaching.
- Previous volunteering or participation in sport or cultural activity.
