Software Engineer; ASP.Net Core

MCS Group is proud to be supporting a well‑established Irish software company based in County Louth which is expanding its product engineering team and hiring an experienced ASP.NET Core Developer.

This role focuses on developing and supporting an integrated eCommerce platform that connects directly with ERP systems via REST APIs. It's a backend‑heavy position centred around clean data integration, system reliability, and continuous product improvement.

This is a long‑term product role within a stable, collaborative engineering environment.

(Hybrid 3 days in office - County Louth)

• Develop, maintain and debug ASP.NET Core C# applications
• Build and enhance REST API integrations with ERP systems
• Extract, transform and structure data for frontend consumption
• Work with relational databases to optimise performance and data integrity
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development standards
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the application stack

• 3+ years' commercial experience with ASP.NET Core and C#
• Strong experience working with RESTful APIs
• Solid SQL / relational database experience
• Comfortable supporting and maintaining live production systems
• Professional, organised and solutions‑focused mindset

• Experience with nop Commerce
• Exposure to ERP systems
• Familiarity with Docker
