Due to the secure nature of the programme, you will need to hold UK Security Clearance or be eligible to go through this clearance. Our teams operate within a flexible hybrid working model, however on-site requirements vary by project, so the ability to travel as required to meet client needs is essential.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

In this role, you’ll be working on a flagship programme working in the UK public health sector and your work will positively impact patients and healthcare professionals. You will design, develop, test and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using .NET MAUI. You will work closely with designers, product owners and backend engineers to translate user needs and UI/UX designs into clean, reusable and accessible components.

Taking ownership of your solutions, you will help shape technical approaches, ensure high standards of quality, and contribute to delivering reliable applications that perform well across platforms.

You will also support continuous improvement through collaboration, code reviews and knowledge sharing, helping to strengthen engineering capability while being supported in your own technical and professional development.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Design & build cross-platform mobile applications using .NET MAUI
  • Develop shared application logic and UI components using C# and .NET
  • Apply sound architectural principles and design patterns such as MVVM
  • Integrate applications with RESTful APIs, databases and backend services
  • Optimise performance, reliability and responsiveness across devices
  • Identify & resolve defects and performance issues
  • Produce clean, well-documented and maintainable code
  • Participate in code reviews and continuous improvement activities
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

You will be an experienced Software Engineer with strong .NET expertise and hands-on experience building cross-platform mobile applications. You will bring a quality-driven mindset, enjoy solving complex technical problems, and be comfortable working collaboratively within Agile delivery teams.

  • Strong commercial experience with C# and .NET
  • Hands-on experience developing applications using .NET MAUI or Xamarin.

    Forms
  • Solid understanding of mobile application architecture and design patterns
  • Experience integrating RESTful APIs and backend services
  • Ability to write clean, maintainable and well-structured code
  • Strong communication skills and experience working in collaborative teams
